Courses at Benediktushof
Catering
Our certified organic vegetarian and vegan cuisine at Benediktushof, certified according to DE-ÖKO-006, reflects the unique spirit of the house. During daily meals, we encourage mindful eating through precise presentation in the dining room and a discreet, friendly, and attentive approach to our guests.
We begin our meals together with a ritual and eat in silence.
Our food is fresh and mostly prepared by hand. The products we use are organically grown, taking seasonality and regionality into account. At the Benediktushof kitchen, we handle food responsibly and serve wholesome, meat-free meals.
Clarity, straightforwardness, and creativity in cooking give our cuisine a distinctive and recognizable character. For information and inspiration on recreating dishes at home, you can consult our Benediktushof cookbooks, "How Zen Tastes" or "Masterful Zen Recipes."
Upon request, we prepare meals for people with gluten and milk protein intolerances, as well as purely vegan meals. Any other dietary requirements can only be accommodated with prior notice and at an additional cost of €5.00 per day.
Our suppliers are primarily from the region.

Assistance with events involving multiple overnight stays
Participation in the courses includes one hour of daily work around the house. This is an integral part of the mindfulness practice. During this practical work, we continue the concentration gained from sitting in silence, and through simple tasks, we can quickly become aware of our conditioning and learn to let go of it. Meditation awakens a power within us that can be expressed during work as intentionless action. Therefore, work is considered highly valuable on our path of practice. It provides a wonderful opportunity to cultivate mindfulness and awareness.
Quiet
The Benedictushof, as a center for meditation and mindfulness, is a place of silence where people can come to themselves and find peace.
We ask you to remain silent both inside the house and during meals.
If it is necessary to speak, we take care not to disturb anyone. If you allow yourself to embrace the silence, you will experience how soothing it is.
Our bistro TROAND and the bookstore cafe are available to you as a "meeting and exchange space".
drinks
From 6:15 a.m. onwards, complimentary coffee, black tea, herbal tea, and hot and cold water are available in our dining rooms. Additionally, a vending machine in the "Red House" offers mineral water (sparkling/still) and fruit juice spritzers for purchase.
